PRESCHOOL:
First Faith Steps… the Preschool Ministry at Friendship is designed to meet the needs of our “little campers” ages birth through kindergarten. We invite parents to join us as we, together, will begin each child’s first faith steps towards knowing and loving Jesus. The Preschool Ministry at Friendship strives to maintain a clean safe environment for your children. We are confident your children will feel safe and loved while in our care. We seek to minister to your entire family. We pray this is a place where you and your family can grow together.
What to Expect:
When you arrive you will go directly to the Welcome Desk in Building B to check in. Please ask one of the greeters located at each entrance for directions to Building B. First time guests will want to arrive a few minutes prior to the beginning of the service or class you would like to attend.
What to Bring for Baby:
For a baby, please bring a diaper bag, at least two extra disposable diapers, and pacifier clip if baby uses a pacifier and an extra change of clothes. Please have all bottles ready to go. Caregivers are not allowed to mix formula or juice – we have refrigerators for your convenience. For a preschooler, please bring a bag or backpack, extra change of clothes and extra undergarments or pull ups if potty training.
Security First:
A check-in system provides us with the assurance that your children are secure each time they are left in our care. You simply check-in your children at the Welcome Desk where you will receive a security badge for you and your "little camper". Each badge has a number ensuring an exact match when you pick up your child. We want to make sure your child is well cared for while you participate in worship, Bible study and fellowship at Friendship. All children are left at the door. A teacher or someone on our childcare staff will be there as quickly as possible to receive your child. Please do not enter the rooms. Fill out the sign-in sheet at the door and provide the information requested.
Schedule:
Growth Groups Sunday Morning at 9:50am
Extended Care Sunday Mornings at 8:45am and 11:00 am
Midweek Activities Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm
CHILDREN:
The Friendship Children’s Ministry strives to partner with parents to raise up the next generation of God fearing, Jesus loving, disciple makers. It is vital during these years that children learn how to study their Bible, develop a foundation of solid Biblical learning and actively live out their faith in their schools, on their teams and at home. Children’s ministry classrooms and worship rooms are located on the second floor of main church Building A.
Security First:
A check-in system provides us with the assurance that your children are secure each time they are left in our care. You simply check-in your children at the Welcome Desk where you will receive a security badge for you and your child between birth and 5th grade. Each badge has a number ensuring an exact match when you pick up your child. We want to make sure your child is well cared for while you participate in worship, Bible study and fellowship at Friendship.
Sunday Mornings:
There are a variety of opportunities for kids on Sunday mornings. Bible Drill focuses on skills and drills that sharpen our childrens' minds and give them the tools they need for lifelong study. Growth groups offer a small group class while Children's worship brings the kids into a large group environment for games and expanded learning of the day's lesson.
Wednesday Nights:
Wednesday nights provide a much needed midweek opportunity to refocus on Jesus. Make Wednesday nights a priority for your kids and join us for fellowship and fun as we gather together to learn God’s word, work on our discipleship skills and play fun games.
